For no other reason than to have a look at it and then rebuild it again.<\/p>\n<p>Contrary to popular belief,\u00a0 they share almost no internal parts with the previous Sebo X4.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-59\" src=\"http:\/\/seboshop.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Sebo-X7-strip-down-1-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Sebo X7 strip down \" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/seboshop.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Sebo-X7-strip-down-1-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/seboshop.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Sebo-X7-strip-down-1.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When we take off the top we can see that ostensibly it looks pretty similar to previous Automatic X Sebo models. However there are many differences. The height adjustment module and the belts are the same, other than that pretty much everything else is different.<\/p>\n<p>Where before there were two PCBs under the hood of a Sebo Automatic X machine, on the Sebo X7 there is only one.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-60\" src=\"http:\/\/seboshop.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Sebo-X7-strip-down-2-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Sebo X7 repair\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/seboshop.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Sebo-X7-strip-down-2-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/seboshop.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Sebo-X7-strip-down-2.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The functions of the previous other two boards are condensed into this one.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-61\" src=\"http:\/\/seboshop.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Sebo-X7-strip-down-3-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Sebo X7 technical specification\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/seboshop.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Sebo-X7-strip-down-3-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/seboshop.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Sebo-X7-strip-down-3.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The motor is enclosed within a bucket assembly which differs to the previous mounting arrangement completely.<\/p>\n<p>The underside of the main PCB control board (which is designated NPPSTXG-A6 and we sell <a href=\"https:\/\/seboshop.co.uk\/sebo-spare-parts\/sebo-x7-spares\/sebo-x7-xp-pcb-nppstxg-a6-5871er\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&gt;here&lt;<\/a>\u00a0if you need one) shows a few components. But not many.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-62\" src=\"http:\/\/seboshop.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Sebo-X7-strip-down-4-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Sebo X7 main control board\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/seboshop.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Sebo-X7-strip-down-4-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/seboshop.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Sebo-X7-strip-down-4.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When we take out the motor from the bucket assembly we see that it is an <a href=\"https:\/\/seboshop.co.uk\/sebo-spare-parts\/sebo-x7-spares\/sebo-x7-x8-xp-ametek-italia-52043-vacuum-motor\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ametek Italia type 52043<\/a> with a twin fan. The motor is a little bit smaller than the previous Domel motors fitted to the Automatic X series.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-63\" src=\"http:\/\/seboshop.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Sebo-X7-strip-down-5-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Sebo X7 Ametek motor 52043\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/seboshop.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Sebo-X7-strip-down-5-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/seboshop.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Sebo-X7-strip-down-5.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Overall as we thought, whilst being a facelift, most components have actually been changed. Only the height adjustment unit, the belts and the brushroll remain the same in the head unit &#8211; everything else is new.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>They Sebo X7 comes in three standard variants: standard gloss white, gloss blue and the top of the range version that we have looked at here today is the black X7 Pet.
