Delivery Information

UK delivery options

All orders under £120 attract a postage and packing charge of £6.99. This reflects the true cost of delivery, including packaging materials and handling time.

For orders over £120, delivery is free as we absorb the cost ourselves.

Most spare parts orders are sent by Royal Mail Tracked 24. Larger items, such as vacuum cleaners and some oversized parts, are sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48. Royal Mail will email you the tracking number, and if you have provided a mobile number, you will also receive an SMS. From there, you can track your parcel and make any necessary delivery adjustments directly with Royal Mail. There is no need to contact us for tracking details, as you will receive them in due course.

UK delivery times

All orders are dispatched as soon as possible, usually the same or next working day. If there is a delay for any reason, we will contact you.

  • Royal Mail Tracked 24 normally delivers within 1–2 working days after dispatch.
  • Royal Mail Tracked 48 normally delivers within 2–5 working days after dispatch.

Check your emails (including the spam folder) and phone for tracking alerts. If you enter your mobile number at checkout, you will usually get SMS delivery updates. Royal Mail also provides options such as changing the delivery day, diverting to a neighbour, or specifying a safe place.

Why not economy delivery?

We believe in transparent pricing. Our postage and packing charge reflects the real cost of shipping, materials, and labour. Unlike some retailers who inflate prices to advertise “free” delivery, we prefer to keep costs honest and upfront.

We also don’t cut corners with unreliable economy services like Evri or Yodel. We know you wouldn’t want your parcel left in the rain, dumped on a neighbour’s lawn, lost, or stolen. That’s why we only use Royal Mail.

For the sake of saving two or three pounds, experience has taught us it’s not worthwhile offering an economy delivery option. With economy delivery, we would spend all day answering angry emails from people wondering why orders haven’t arrived. The cost of “economy delivery” in terms of customer experience and the extra customer service work it creates makes it a false economy.

Highlands and Islands

We don’t believe in penalising our Scottish, Northern Irish and British Isles customers with extra delivery charges. Thanks to the leverage of our large Royal Mail account spend, we’ve secured a deal that removes these surcharges, so you pay the same as mainland UK customers.

What Tracked 24 means in detail

Royal Mail Tracked 24 does not mean “order at 11 pm on Friday night and receive it on Saturday morning”. Our weekday order cut-off is about 1.30 pm, as Royal Mail collects from us around 2 pm. For example:

  • If you order on Monday morning, it will usually be dispatched Monday afternoon and arrive Tuesday or Wednesday.
  • If you order after 1.30 pm on Friday, it will be collected on Monday and arrive on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Late or missing deliveries

Royal Mail’s official policy allows up to 18 working days before an item is classed as lost, although in practice most parcels arrive within a week. In our experience, almost nothing is lost.

If your delivery seems delayed, please first check your Royal Mail tracking. If the tracking shows the item is still in transit, it is on its way and no further action is needed at that stage.

If the tracking shows as delivered but you have not received it, please:

  • Look carefully at your Royal Mail tracking online, which will include a delivery photo and a map location.
  • Check with neighbours and any safe places.
  • Look for delivery cards, although sometimes none are left.

Royal Mail delivery scans are GPS-based and cannot be faked. A delivery scan, together with the photo and map location shown on Royal Mail’s website, is irrefutable proof that the parcel was delivered to the location shown. In most cases, where customers cannot immediately locate a parcel, it is later found at a neighbour’s, in a designated safe place, or at the local delivery office after several failed delivery attempts.

Delivery to insecure locations: if you live in a communal or unsecured building, mail delivered there or to a neighbour will be considered delivered. We cannot accept responsibility for parcels once Royal Mail confirms delivery to the correct location.

Safe place deliveries: if you have a designated safe place registered with Royal Mail, tracking will show “Delivered to Safe Place”. Once Royal Mail confirm this, the parcel is considered delivered. We cannot accept responsibility if your chosen safe place is not secure.

Overseas delivery

This site only processes UK orders. If you would like an order delivered overseas, please contact us and we will be happy to quote for tracked shipping.

Delivery to multiple locations

Unfortunately, we cannot split up an order and deliver to multiple addresses. If you wish to send items to different locations, you will need to place a separate order for each delivery address.

Address changes

We cannot change the delivery address once an order has been placed. If you notice an error, please email us immediately so we can cancel the order before dispatch and you can re-order with the correct details. If the order has already left us, you can make delivery changes via Royal Mail’s website.
