Which to choose? Many Sebo owners choose genuine spare parts as a matter of routine. Some people prefer to save a few pounds – especially with older machines – and are happy with a good quality aftermarket part that does the same job. We fit the aftermarket brushrolls to our reconditioned vacuums without issue. Visually they are identical.

When your Sebo brushroll needs replacing, your Sebo will normally tell you. The 'check brushroll' light may remain on or flicker when the machine is being used. Applying downward pressure to the cleaner head will usually extinguish it. This tells you the bristles have worn and the onboard computer senses that there isn't enough resistance between the brushroll and the floor.

If you have an older Sebo, it's never a bad idea to change the brushroll as part of your service procedure. When a brushroll is old, worn or clogged up with hair, the machine will be less effective. Most self-levelling problems are corrected by replacing the brushroll.

If your Sebo brush roll has white bristles, then its time for a new one as they were discontinued many years ago! This is the correct replacement for Automatic X series models with white bristles on the roller. If you are looking for the soft green brushroll, you can find that one >here<.
