Sebo Felix & Dart Parts Guide – Complete Schematic with Part Numbers

The Sebo Felix and its commercial variant, the Sebo Dart, are fundamentally the same machine, sharing nearly all components. While Sebo offers over 15 different Felix versions (Navy, Rosso, Graffiti, Rose, Peony, Pet, etc.), the differences are purely cosmetic – colour bodies and decorative exhaust filter covers. This guide covers spare parts compatible with all Felix and Dart colour variants.

One of the brilliant things about the Felix and Dart is that they’re designed to be user-maintainable. You can change bags, filters, and brush rolls yourself, and even access blockages through the inspection flap without needing professional assistance. This guide provides part numbers, replacement schedules, and links to our shop.

Parts Diagram

We’ve made available a detailed exploded parts diagram for the Sebo Felix Fun (an older Felix model, but the vast majority of parts remain universal across all Felix and Dart versions). View the complete parts diagram here (opens in new tab). You can flick between the diagram and this guide to identify exactly which part you need.

Essential Consumables (Most Frequently Replaced)

These are the parts you’ll need to replace regularly as part of normal maintenance:

Part Description Part Number Replacement Schedule Where to Buy
Felix/Dart Dust Bags (10 pack) 7029ER Every 10-12 months (typical household use) View at Sebo Shop →
Standard Motor Filter 7012ER Every 12 months View at Sebo Shop →
Pre-Motor Charcoal Filter (Pet models) 7185ER Every 12 months View at Sebo Shop →
Standard Brush Roll 5010ER Every 2-3 years (or when bristles worn) View at Sebo Shop →
SOFT Brush Roll (Green, gentler) 5010GE Every 2-3 years View at Sebo Shop →
Drive Belt (toothed) Various types As needed (if broken or stretched) View at Sebo Shop →

Maintenance tip: The brush roll is easy to remove – just pop it out, trim any tangled hair with scissors, and slide it back in. This is the same ET1 head design used across multiple Sebo models including the D4, D9, E3, and commercial Dart machines, so parts are widely available.

Sebo Felix and Dart Cleaner Head Components (ET1 Head)

The Felix and Dart use the ET1 cleaner head – a cracking piece of kit that’s been around since Adam was a lad and remains super reliable. Here are the key head components:

Major Head Parts:

Bumpers & Body Parts:

Brush Roll Mechanism:

Height Adjustment:

  • Pile Adjustment Assembly Complete (2316DG) – Part of head mechanism
  • Pile Adjustment Button (2931DG) – Manual height adjuster for different floor types

Important note: When you’re running the Felix, you’ll see a red or orange light if the brush roll is unhappy. Use the height adjuster dial to set it correctly for your floor type – it may vary from surface to surface (tiles vs carpet).

Sebo Felix & Dart Motors & Electrical Components

The Felix and Dart are twin motor machines: one motor drives the brush roll in the head, and another provides suction in the main body. Both are extremely reliable.

Main Motors:

  • VAC Motor 230-240V (7043ER / 44186EK) – View at Sebo Shop →Main suction motor
  • Brush Motor 230-240V 175W Ametek (2975ER) – View at Sebo Shop →Drives the brush roll
  • Carbon Brushes for VAC Motor (05143S) – Pair
  • Carbon Brushes for Brush Motor (05141S) – Pair

PCBs & Electronics:

Wiring & Switches:

Note: PCBs are supplied on trade terms and are strictly non-returnable. Please be certain this is the part you need before ordering.

Handle, Upper Body & Filter Components

Handles:

  • Felix White Handle Complete (7164WE) – View at Sebo Shop →
  • Felix Black Handle Complete (7164SW) – View at Sebo Shop →
  • Handle Tube (7081ER) – Upper handle tube component
  • Release Button (7082VO) – For detaching top from base

Versatility feature: The handle shrinks down when you detach the top half from the base, making it more manageable to carry. There are little indents on the handle showing where to grip for the best centre of gravity.

Hoses & Connections:

Filter Covers & Housing:

Reminder: Different Felix versions (Navy, Rosso, Graffiti, Rose, Peony) just have different coloured filter covers – the machines underneath are identical. You can easily swap covers if you fancy a change.

Sebo Felix & Dart Cables, Wheels & Hardware

Sebo Felix & Dart Tools & Accessories

The Felix comes with two onboard tools (crevice tool and upholstery tool), but we offer a huge range of additional tools. Rather than paying a premium for special edition Felix models with extra tools, it’s more economical to buy the base model and add what you need.

Sebo Felix: Common Maintenance Tasks

Changing the Dust Bag:

The bag simply lifts out. There’s a little motor filter in the bottom that you don’t need to give a great deal of consideration to. The bag pops back in with a couple of little locators you need to line up, then clip shut. Simple as that.

Cleaning the Brush Roll:

Pop the brush roll out, trim any tangled hair with a pair of scissors, then slide it back in. Takes seconds and keeps your Felix performing at its best.

Dealing with Blockages:

Use the inspection flap on the underside of the head to access and clear any blockages. This goes through to the main airflow path.

Height Adjustment:

Use the manual height adjuster dial to set the correct level for your floor type. You’ll see a red or orange warning light if the brush roll is unhappy – just adjust until it’s happy. Settings may vary from surface to surface (tiles vs carpet vs deep pile).

Important: If you’ve got very deep pile carpets, the Felix may not be ideal for you. It’s far better to have an X Series that self-levels and has breathe vents in the front. For regular carpet, mats, and normal floors, the Felix is absolutely cracking.
