We’re your North West specialist Sebo vacuum cleaner repair store covering the Cheshire area. We repair all Sebo vacuum cleaners – domestic Sebo vacuums as well as commercial ones.
Our qualified Sebo technicians can diagnose and repair your Sebo fast. We fix a lot of Sebos.
We’re within quite easy reach of Cheshire. You don’t need to travel that far to reach us. You’ll find us just off the M60 near Stockport. If you don’t want to drive to us, we also offer an easy service where you can send your Sebo in to be repaired.
No need to book your Sebo in or telephone ahead. Our opening times, map, directions and everything else you need to know can be found on our >find us page<.
If your Sebo vacuum is suffering from any of the following problems, we can repair it.
- Intermittent cutting out
- Damaged power cord where it enters the handle
- Automatic height adjustment not working correctly
- Not picking up like it once was
- Difficult to push on the carpet (especially deep pile carpet)
- No power at all when you switch it on
- Smoke, smell, or ominous rumbling from the motor
- Red ‘bag full’ warning light illuminated when the bag is empty
- Cutting out after a short time with a warning light on
- ‘Check brush’ light illuminated
All of these problems can be repaired, probably for less than you imagine. These types of problems are not usually a reason to think about replacing or getting rid of your Sebo.
As the North’s largest Sebo-approved service centre, people travel to us from all over Cheshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire and even further afield.
What About the Chap in the Village?
There are not very many Sebo specialists around. There used to be J. Blagg & Sons on the High Street in Tarporley (run by two very nice chaps, Peter and Keith), but they shut down a couple of years ago (we cleared them out when they closed down).
We differ from the average local small vacuum repair shop (or as in some cases, you’ll find a hardware shop masquerading as a vacuum repair shop). We are not a place that repairs anything and everything. We won’t fix your lawnmower. We won’t fix your fridge. We’ll fix your Dyson (as we do those too) but we prefer not to fix Hoover, Gtech, Shark or Vax given a choice. We won’t sell you a fan heater or an iron either. We’re Sebo vacuum specialists.
Sebo vacuums are what we do day in, day out. It’s what we know. If we need spares, they are in stock already. We don’t need to get into lengthy investigations at your expense to find a fault or wait a week for a spare part like small shops often do. Our engineers have seen it all. We’ve fixed literally thousands of Sebos. We have everything in stock. We have more Sebo spare parts than anyone else in the North.
We’re not a corner shop. You’ll find us in an industrial unit. We have a free car park, customer toilets, a coffee machine and even air conditioning (for those few days in the year when we need it).
We are the place many local repair shops ask for advice when they are not sure or can’t identify the problem. We are the place many local repair shops buy their spares from.
No need to book your Sebo in or telephone ahead. Our opening times, map, directions and everything else you need to know can be found on our >find us page<.
What About Repairs in the Home?
We don’t do that and here’s why: many people who repair vacuums in your home are disreputable and we don’t want to be tarred with that brush. >>Here’s a topic on our advice forums outlining the many “in the home” vacuum repair scams out there<<.
Repairing your Sebo in your home isn’t a very efficient business model. It would involve a van full of every conceivable Sebo spare part. And who is paying for travel time from place to place? You are! Our workshop has thousands of spare parts and many specialist repair tools. You simply can’t do that out of a van.
Also, a man in your home, slurping your tea, with your machine in bits all over the floor makes you a captive. He can tell you it’s a £200 repair (when it just isn’t) and you’re on the spot to make a decision.
How Long Does a Sebo Repair Take?
For a Sebo X Series cable replacement, we can often do that while you wait for significantly less than the cost of a new replacement handle and flex assembly.
If you prefer to DIY, as we are spare parts specialists too, we stock top-quality replacement power cables for the full Sebo range and we even have a free fitting tutorial to make sure you get it right.
For other Sebo repairs in Tarporley, Winsford, Sandbach, Middlewich, Northwich, Weaverham or Holmes Chapel, you would bring your Sebo to us, if we can’t diagnose it on the spot, we’ll call you with a diagnosis and price within a day or so. If you decide to go ahead, we will repair it usually within a day or two and send you an SMS when it is ready to collect.
No need to book in or call ahead. Opening times, map, directions, address, telephone number, email and everything else you need to know is on our >find us page<.
We also offer a national repair service where you can send your Sebo to us. Find out all about that >here<.
How Much Does a Sebo Repair Cost in Winsford and Tarporley?
A quote is always free. We have a minimum charge of £20 for small jobs. As an example, a replacement while-you-wait power cord replacement costs £35 all in. Typical labour charges for other repairs are in the region of £35-55 depending on the repair. Any extra parts required would be on top. As Sebo parts specialists, our parts prices are always competitive. We supply the trade with spare parts too.
If My Sebo Can’t Be Repaired, Can I Buy a New One?
In the unlikely event that your Sebo isn’t an economical repair, we carry the full range of new Sebo vacuum cleaners, both domestic and commercial models. If you’re thinking of a new Sebo, always bring your old one with you anyway, we’ll always give you something for it against a new one. Even if it’s only a packet of bags, it’s better than taking it to the tip.
We also have shop floor demonstrators of most models so you can try them before you buy. As we source our machines directly from Sebo and not from distributors or buying groups such as Euronics, buying face-to-face from us usually means you save money as you’re not paying hidden delivery charges or third-party platform fees. It also allows us to discuss deals on bags, quantity discounts, cash discounts, etc. Plus we’ll assemble your new machine free of charge if you like so you don’t need to think about disposing of the packaging.
We absolutely guarantee you a better deal on a new Sebo than any Euronics dealer or John Lewis store.
In fact, if you would normally buy a new Sebo at John lewis, find out in this article why you can get a better deal from us.
We know you’re not on our doorstep. You might be in Sproston Green or Brereton Green and not fancy the drive over. We also sell new Sebos online from our popular Sebo Shop website. Check our prices before you think about a platform such as Amazon, and you can find out in this article why we can offer a better deal than Amazon.
No need to book in or call ahead. Opening times, map, directions, address, telephone number, email and everything else you need to know is on our >find us page<.
Use a Reputable Business
When the BBC want some vacuum expertise they ask us. When ex-cabinet ministers want a Sebo vacuum cleaner, they come to us. When ITV want a Sebo vacuum cleaner for Coronation St, they get it from us. When Gordon Burns from the Krypton Factor (who lives not far away) wants his vacuum repaired, he comes to us.
Our >>150+ plus Google reviews speak for themselves<<.
Here’s one of our reviews from Trustpilot:
Fantastic service, fixed a snapped belt on my Sebo while I waited.
Very knowledgeable and stock everything you could need. Having a shop like this means you can keep a quality vacuum cleaner running rather than buying a new one.
Very welcome in this disposable age. – Nigel Barber
